JIB Awards

Here's the home page of the JIB Awards (Jewish and Israeli blogs).
Its an all-volunteer effort. Good luck, guys! (Sarcasm). As the proud (groan) compiler (?) of a list of 1400+ Ortho-blogs (Ortho being a but a mere subset of Jewish and Israeli) I gotta warn you, there's a lot out there.

When I started this project, I thought there were about 200 Ortho-Blogs. My blogroll recently reached a high point of 2305. So I have decided in the interests of practicality, to start eliminating links. The plan is to wind up with a list of the 1000 best Ortho-Blogs.

The links to be eliminated are as follows: 1. Duplications 2.Blogs with no activity in 2006. 3. Links to sites which are not actually blogs 4. Links to blogs with no content 5. Links to blogs which have virtually no content. and 6. Links to blogs which are not sufficiently relevant to the Orthodox Jewish community.
